Snow Bunnies

What could be more fun than playing in the snow? Well, according to Henry, a LOT of things!! We had quite the snowfall over Christmas, and it only made sense to get bundled up and enjoy the white stuff. I truly felt like the mother in A Christmas Story. Remember when she's bundling up Ralphie's little brother. She keeps adding layers and wrapping that scarf around him till all you could see of him was his eyes. Much like Randy, Henry could barely walk when I got through with him. Then we went outside in the blustery wind...he hates wind. Then I set him down in the snow and it made a crunching sound...and he didn't like that either.

Jack and I trudged around a bit while Henry fell over and sat in the cold stuff, crying. It only took a couple minutes, though, before he decided it wasn't all that bad. But it was pretty chilly out there and hard to move in those snow suits so we only lasted about 10 minutes before heading back into the warmth of the house. It left me wondering if it was really worth it to spend 15 minutes bundling them up when they were only actually out there for 10! Playing in the snow was okay, but I think we are all looking forward to some warmer weather!
