Henny in a Box ! ! !

On more than one occasion, I have managed to lose Henry. Not truly lose him, but he has free reign over all of the house; match that with a fascination for shoes, and you have a baby who frequently finds himself quietly sitting in a closet . . . trying on shoes, of course!  That can make an 18-month-old difficult to find. One afternoon, Henry had gone upstairs, but then it got awfully quiet, so I thought I better go investigate. I looked in Jack's room...didn't see him. Looked in Henry's room...didn't see him. I looked in our room...didn't see him. Now I'm starting to worry a bit--please tell me he's not playing in the bathroom...nope, not in there either. Then I hear a sound. The creaking of hinges and thumping of feet on wood. Where could he be??!! Then I spot the little booger....peek-a-boo!!
Jack has these little stairs by his bed and Henry LOVES to navigate them...and on this particular day, he apparently thought it would be a great idea to explore the inside as well!! I guess all my picture-snapping and giggles got a little old, and he was more than ready to get out of there, but didn't know how to go about it. Mommy had to rescue him from that mean ol' box and then life was good again. I haven't actually seen him inside it since!
