What's Better Than A Box??

So Matt finished the deck last year with the plan that he'd build seats for it this summer, but we started rethinking that plan and opted to go with some sort of comfy furniture out there. We'd been looking around a bit but were holding out for a bargain, when BAM! We found what we were looking for at just the right price at J.C. Penney Outlet. So, with 10 big boxes loaded in our garage, we got straight to work on getting the deck cleaned and stained. Once that was done, it was time to set up the sectional, thus leaving many big, big boxes without a purpose.  Ahh...in come the 4- & 5-year-olds. Wa-lah! Those boxes found their purpose. We had quite the fort city going on in our garage for about a week. Boxes with stickers, boxes colored with markers, boxes with doors and windows, boxes with trap doors that led into other boxes, and leave it to Jack to line the bottom of his personal box with floor tiles! Of all the toys the boys have in the house, I've not seen them play as intently (or creatively!) as they did with those boxes. It's hard to beat a good box!!
