Jack's First Carnival

This summer we went to SantaCaliGon days Independence, MO. We figured it might just be fun to roam around the booths and play a couple of carnival games. Of course there were rides, too, and Jack sheepishly said he wanted to ride one. Matt and I were both pretty certain it wouldn't go well. But much to our amazement, he jumped right on that first ride (flying Dumbo elephants) and did GREAT. So great, in fact, that we had to buy more tickets and ride just about every ride there was. He even tried his first (toddler) roller coaster, much like the Wacky Worm at Worlds of Fun. He had an absolute blast! It was so much fun to see him taking on new big boy activities without so much as a wimper. He's getting so big!!
