Fun at the Parade

This year, we went to the American Royal parade. I remember going to this parade each year with my dad, and wanted to pass on the tradition to my own kids. It was a nice day for an outdoors activity. Henry sat in his stroller for a decent part of the time. Jack was feeling a little cranky, but soon came out of it and watched all the floats go by. The highlight for me was the Marching Cobras, simply because it brought back so many memories of parades from the past. Jack liked the animals. Henry is always happy as long as there is something to watch. It was a fun (and, apparently exhausting) morning!
