Well, today is Jack's Due Date...hard to believe he was supposed to be born today, but we've already been enjoying him for the past 17 days! He's come a long way since then...he managed to survive a somewhat traumatic birth, avoided bili-lights, healed the bruising and knarley abrasions to his head, lost his plastibell, and today, he lost his umbilical cord! Looks like we'll be taking a tub bath tonight!! He had a busy weekend...went to his first wedding (how tacky to bring a newborn to a wedding, I know!!) But he was sooo well behaved! --except for when he leaked right out of his diaper and we had to travel home with a wet outfit and squishy drawers (no, mommy had not packed a spare outfit, and we'd already run out of diapers in the diaper bag!--hey, I'm new at this!! next outing, I know to have extras of everything!!) Today, Mommy's uncle, Jack, came over and transformed our living room into a photo studio and took 180 pictures of little Jack!! It wore him out...it's tough work being a model! Mommy's very excited to pick out all the best poses and share them with everyone!! We'll keep you posted!
