Jack has had an exciting week: Tuesday Mommy and Jack traveled with Momma's friend Dawn and her 8-month-old, Natalie, to Omaha's Henry Dorley Zoo. Just a 2-day roadtrip; kind of a glorified playdate. We first went up to Lincoln where we had their pictures taken together by our favorite photographer. Jack got his 9-month pix taken and they turned out very well. I'll post a couple here. We did a little shopping and headed back down to Omaha where we settled in to our complimentary rooms at Harrah's! The next morning we set out for the Omaha zoo where we explored the Desert Dome, the Penguin habitat and the Rain Forest Ddome. Very cool. Natalie napped on and off, but Jack stayed wide-eyed for the whole adventure...he loved the aquarium where you can walk thru a tunnel and watch sting-rays and sharks swim all around you (see pic...Jack is watching a shark swim by right above him).
